Transexual Man - Buck Angel FTM Pornstar

Yesterday I had the honor of shooting with photographer Carlos Batts for the cover of the magazine Sexis. It is a magazine put out by Eden Fantasys. I met with them while in NYC last month and will begin to some work with them online having my own column. They are super cool and big supporters of my work.

I got to shoot the cover with hotty!! April Flores. These photos are going to blow everyone away. So I got some behind the scene shots here to post for you now hope you enjoy.

My trip to speak at YALE was so great. The minute I got there the girls from SWAY (SEX WEEK AT YALE) had a car waiting for me at the airport to take to 2 hour drive to CT. Once there the girls met me at the school to show me my private room on campus at the Masters College. Already I was feeling like a king.

It was freezing and thank god I had just bought a new down jkt. Amazing the gym was right next to my room and was fully equiped to give me a killer workout. I was a bit nervous as I was speaking at the Master’s house in front of students and professors.

So after finally having a couple days to rest and feel grounded. It was time to do my talk. Before the talk Master G had me over for a lunch with him and some of the students.I had been getting some threats on my visit to YALE so just to be on the safe side the school had police outside of every event. I just could not believe how I effect people so much they go as far as to threaten me!

After that it was time for the talk and as I walked from the dining room into the living room where it was jammed packed with not one bit of walking room. WOW I was so overwhelmed.

I sat down in front of the students and Master G and I were seated in front in chairs facing everyone. It was basically a very informal story telling time. All eyes on me no time to get shy!!

My talk started with a thank you to Master G and the fellow students for having me at Yale to speak as I was very honored to be there. I had not graduated high school so in all my wildest dreams I would have never thought I would be speaking at Yale.

After the thanks I started with talking about my childhood and how it was not a bad one and that it is important for people to know that I did not come from a bad childhood and thus that is not why I do what I do or who I am. Then I basically went through my whole life story, My drug addiction, suicide attempts, self hatred into becoming the man I am. I think I really made such an impact on people at the talk. They were so attentive and just so interested in my story it was so powerful for me!

Then I showed and episode of BUCKING THE SYSTEM and after opened it up to Q&A. Got all amazing questions from everyone. Then after had people lined up to take pics with me and say thank you.

Later that night I was on a Sex Panel with all the hottest women in porn! Joanna Angel, Tristan Taramino, Madison Young and Sasha Grey. It was moderated by my good friend and editor of Fleshbot Lux Alptrum. The panel discussion was centered around our work and how we are breaking down the norms of waht people think are porn and sexuality and gender. Great panel.

Buck Angel will be descending on the Yale University Campus February 13-14, 2010, to join some of the brightest minds on the planet for a Master’s Tea!

Mr. Angel, I just found out about you and I have to say, you've opened my eyes to something I was never sure could be... I could go on but that would be silly. I just wanted to bestow my praise and adoration upon you and ask a question or two, which I will understand completely if you don't/can't answer. Did you experience any negative effects from the process you went through to be yourself, such as side effects or problems? Also, how had you legal status changed (did your gender change legally or would it have to be?) I ask because I am married and would be afraid of voiding that, unless of course I found a loop hole?.. I digress though, clearly these are things I need to research for myself but I wanted some words of wisdom from someone as accomplished as you.

Well last week I was in Edmonton for the Exposure Festival. It was a amazing to say the least. The film I put together for the venue was so well recieved it got two standing ovations. I was blown away.

You know when you are editing a piece for a festival you are always nervous how it will be perceived and so I had to walk away from it becauseI just kept editing it more and more.

I'm actually having coffee with a brand new transman and your name came into our conversation. We are wondering how you can "market" yourself as the man with a pussy. For my part, I find it very difficult to be a man and tell people I still have some of my originals parts (!!!!!). For many trans guys, having a vagina isn't something that we will advertise or even feel right about. How does your gay acting partner feel about sex scenes with you ? At some point, do they think that all transmen want to be penetrated or like frontal sex ? Do you feel, that you need to educate them about that ?

I know that you love your work and that you are really proud of all that you have achieved but I think that the trans community would really like that you specify that the way you live your sexuality doesn't reflect the sexuality of all transmen.

Many years ago, I was deeply in love with a “straight” guy whom I moved a couple of thousand miles and across about six states to be with, but let’s not go there! Needless to say that he used to tell me he could never get into the “ass-fucking” a guy thing, and the only way he could ever see himself settling down with a guy is if he had a pussy. And there you have it...I was his best friend and confidante, closer to him than most of the girls he ever screwed. But as long as I had just an ass and a dick, we could never be as “tight” as I wanted to be with him.

But it got me thinking...I had dated a few girls before learning to accept myself as a gay man. I’ve even had sex with a couple. But what would it be like...to be able to have a hot guy for a lover who actually had a pussy? Alas, I would never know what that would feel like...but thanks to you, I now know that it’s possible.

Titan has long been one of my favorite companies. As a writer of stroke fiction and a gay porn movie reviewer, I’ve seen a wide range of stuff. As a video store clerk at a place that sold all kinds of adult vids, I thought I’d seen it all. But that was before I saw the previews to something called CIRQUE NOIR. Now, I am usually a “vanilla” kind of guy. I like hot, straight-ahead sex with just that little twist of ‘kink’ every now and then. I don’t do the FALLEN ANGEL stuff – leather, live, real-time piercings, fisting, spitting, piss-drinking...none of that is on my menu. And no, I’ve never seen CIRQUE NOIR all the way through, either. But I couldn’t stop thinking about YOU. I knew about MTF and FTM transsexuals, and knew a lot more about MTF’s than their counterparts, mostly because there are MTF videos and movies galore. I mean, some of them even have roles on mainstream entertainment, both in movies and on TV! But before you, the butchest and closest celeb to anything that might be FTM – at least for me – was k.d. Lang, and she’s still physically a woman – as far as I know.

But you are the first, ‘in-ya-face’, straight up FTM I have ever seen who left me with my mouth open, my dick raging hard...and wanting to know more about FTM ‘tranny men.’ It’s spellbinding, confounding...and hot as hell! I think the last time I had a reaction like this was when I first heard “Lola” by The Kinks. You are as revolutionary to the porn world as that song was to rock. There will be many imitators that follow, but only one original.

I hear you about moving out of the United States. It’s my home country, but I don’t think it’s ever been as much of a fucking mess as it is right this minute. As a black man, as a gay man, as a BLACK GAY MAN in an interracial relationship...I often wonder what kind of a future my partner and I will have, if things keep going the way they have been. If I had the money and the resources to get us both the fuck out of here, to move to Amsterdam or Berlin or the Spanish coast or hell...just anywhere but here, I’d do it in a heartbeat.

Right now, I would just settle for the courage to be myself with everyone, and fuck what anybody else thinks. And that’s why I admire you as much for what you have accomplished, as I do for that sizzling hot stud body you’ve built with a little “some’n-some’n” extra. I will probably be a member of your website by the time you get this, and I am sorry that things are so extreme here in AmeriKKKa right now, that you possibly felt the need to get out just to insure your own personal safety. I’m sorrier still that because of that, I might never get the chance to meet you in person. But I did want to let you know that if your intention was to educate as well as fascinate and titillate, you have succeeded beyond your wildest dreams...at least with one guy!

Ok I know that not everyone in the world loves what I do. I would be an idiot to think otherwise. But when and article is written about the trans community and how there is this absence of trans men in porn and the article features only a photo of me( which they never asked to use) and also blurbs from everyone but me I find this a bit strange.

So I made a comment on the site about why I felt there was an absence of trans men in porn.
Well then I get these comments about me that are quite funny and a bit on the fucked up side. You know it is always on these boards that these people write shit about me, they never have the balls to either email me or confront me in person and that really pisses me off. But I guess when your a pioneer you are always going to have people jealous of your achievements. And this is what it looks like to me. Here are the comments..
Also, Buck's classist "bootstraps!!!" attitude toward the trans male community has reached epically comical proportions. Dude is a self-parody.
Hear hear! I admit, being a Trans man myself, I was interested in Buck Angel when I first heard of him, but what I've seen from him --both in jpeg and in attitude-- is something I'd rather not associate with. You're right, his "bootstraps!!!" attitude is totally classist (easy to say that when you're already sitting on a modest fortune), and in all honesty, I'm just not into his whole Bear-aesthetic, either. He's a parody of what a hint of extra testosterone "will do to ya'". I can't take him seriously, not even as an adult entertainer.

Now what makes people think I am sitting on a modest fortune? And if I am then it is all from my own hard work, Why is this a bad thing? You see why I get such a bad taste in my mouth from the "ftm Community" Jesus people I do more for your community than you can even imagine and not because I want anything but because I feel like doing community service is part of being a good pioneer. Fuck maybe I will just start donating my time and money to some other org.
